We are very excited to announce that last week, SMG was shortlisted for the 2018 Lloyds Bank Mid-Market Business of the Year award. The National Business Awards, now in their 17th year, have a long-standing history of celebrating the best of British business and recognise companies who are driving exceptional growth across the country.
Offering something totally unique in the industry, we have grown to be a company of over 100 employees, servicing a myriad of clients, launching proprietary tools such as PlanVault and demonstrating clear sustainable growth to become the market leader in shopper media. We are an innovative business at the heart and improving media effectiveness for clients is central to what we do and we couldn't be more chuffed with this news.
This follows on from our 2017 shortlist for Scale-up Business of the Year and just shows how far we have come in a year; that we can now compete with the best of the established Mid-Market companies in the UK like Avant Homes and Bulb. The next stage is for us to present SMG to a panel of judges and business leaders at a meeting in September, after which the winners will be revealed on the 13th of November at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
