Meet Greg Evans - our very own insight manager at Threefold.

When did you join SMG?

April 2016.

Describe your role in a nutshell..

I split my time between Manchester and Liverpool throughout the week, looking after Insight for two partnership accounts. There is a huge amount of variety in my role, meaning some days I can be developing digital dashboards and new sales analyses, while other days I can be running workshops for internal teams.

Tell us what you enjoy most about working here?

There are no barriers to what you can take on, enabling you to make the role your own. As we're split across multiple locations and business, SMG has B3 groups, which act as the gel across the company. The "Making SMG A Great Place to Work" team in particular has organised some seriously impressive socials; the 2017 SMG Summer Festival was probably my favourite.

What aspects of your role keep you challenged and curious?

You're able to take on responsibility from day 1, which helps you continuously develop and sharpen your skills. The rate of growth at SMG, whether it's new business within an account or working with a completely new partnership, means there's always a fresh challenge on the horizon.

Which of the four SMG values resonates most with you and why?

Stay Foolish resonates the most with me, as I'm constantly looking to push what is achievable with the data and resources we have.

What is the most useful piece of advice you've received since joining SMG?

Nothing is too difficult when broken down into small steps.
