When did you join SMG? November 2018
Describe your role in a nutshell.. I work within the Lobster client team supporting on key accounts and helping my clients demonstrate a positive and increasing ROI on their shopper marketing. I actively manage the delivery of evaluation output and recommendations, along with being involved in media buying and campaign planning.
Tell us what you enjoy most about working here? As a recent grad, it was of huge importance for me to find a company where I am continuously learning new things and being challenged, in order to develop myself both professionally and personally. Lobster fits that description perfectly and I absolutely love it! And of course, I have to mention it - the company culture here is absolutely amazing!
What aspects of your role keep you challenged and curious? Working on different projects within different clients definitely keeps things interesting. Every day is different and you learn something new every day – you don’t get bored here!
Which of the four SMG values resonates most with you and why? Stay foolish! It’s great being in a company that is not stuck in its ways and is not afraid to try new things, while always trying to break industry barriers.
What is the most useful piece of advice you've received since joining SMG? Don’t be afraid to ask questions! This is especially important in a junior role, as you can learn so much more in a short space of time, by engaging with more experienced colleagues. It also helps that everyone here is super friendly and supportive, and will always help you when needed.
